PENDING REFUND IMPLEMENTATION REVIEW. Draft prepared September 27, 2026. Refund work is active and not verified in production. This draft does not finalize eligibility, processing timelines, cancellation promises or allocation of chargeback costs. No blanket prohibition on refunds or statutory remedies applies.
What the working tree does
Native payments are Stripe Connect destination charges. Current refund reconciliation code observes succeeded full/partial Stripe Dashboard refunds, computes cumulative proportional transfer reversals and proportional application-fee refunds, and retries through webhook failure handling. Original Stripe card processing is borne by OUTSYDE. It does not create an automatic cancellation-refund API or prove recoverability after payout. More than the returned refund-list limit requires manual reconciliation; failed financial reconciliation must be reviewed.
Buyer and organizer process
Review the event’s specific refund policy before purchase; contact organizer/support with ticket/event details. Organizers must promptly communicate cancellations, postponements and material venue/date changes and cooperate with remedies required by law. [COUNSEL REVIEW REQUIRED]: minimum cancellation remedy, timelines, admission-policy disputes and responsibilities when proceeds have already been paid out. Do not promise that event cancellation automatically refunds tickets. Current Help’s non-refundable 5% statement contradicts the reconciliation code and must be resolved by its active owner.
Financial safeguards
Only supported Stripe reversals are described; no unconditional right to keep funds, impose reserves, debit bank accounts or silently deduct future proceeds is created. Contractual negative-balance/chargeback liability and recovery need counsel and implementation review. Legitimate consumer disputes remain available.
